1st birthday party and 1st haircut!

Last Sunday, (Oct 19th) was filled with a couple of firsts for Carson! After church, the lot of our family gathered over at John and Terri's, as usual. But the gathering was accompanied by a 50% off birthday cake from Trig's in celebration of Carson's birthday! It was verrry tasty!

And later that evening, Grandma gave Carson his first haircut! (It was getting kind of mullet-y in the back and a little comb-over-esque on top!) We had to entertain him with the lid of a jar - go figure! - but he did pretty well! And the end result was ADORABLE! Carson looks SO much older to me now!
