10 months old!

I'm a little late in posting Carson's 10 month update because we were leaving for our family vacation to North Dakota at the time. But better late than never!

Carson is seriously such a good baby. He still sleeps through the night, usually from 7-8 pm until 6-8 am. In fact, we still even swaddle him at night before bed because it helps to calm him down and fall asleep quicker.

He's become quite the crawler, getting into just about everything he shouldn't be getting into! He loves outlets and cords, so lots of baby proofing and strategically placed chairs have become a necessity.

He loves being outside and watching people. He especially loves other babies. Sunlight coming through the blinds in our home makes him giddy. (He better soak it up before the sun disappears for the winter!) For some reason, he loves pulling out all the shoes and chewing on them, no matter how many times I take them away!

He also loves drinking ice water from a regular cup (with help, of course). He's passionately obsessed with cheese and corn on the cob. In fact, I'd even go so far as to say that Carson's love for corn on the cob is comparable to my love for peppermint. He still likes being fed baby food, but he equally enjoys feeding himself. And he's become quite the pro at picking up finger foods and successfully getting them in his mouth!

Carson hates his car seat. Most passionately. As well as getting his diaper changed. And brushing his teeth. But he still loves tylenol and ibuprofen, and downs it like a champ when his teeth hurt.

In the morning, Carson's typical cries of hunger are sometimes replaced with happy giggles and babbles. It's the very best alarm clock in the world. :)

One of Carson's favorite toys is the blocks from Nana Janie. If you build a tower of blocks, Carson will literally come from anywhere in the room, drop anything he's doing, to crawl over and knock the tower over. He smiles and laughs and never tires of it! Instead of telling Carson, "No no! Don't get into that!!" I'll often just build a block tower. Inevitably, Carson abandons any mischief to come knock the tower over. It's amazing.

Carson loves singing along to the hymns at church and sometimes to the music on the radio while we drive. It's soo insanely cute. He's also developed a love for kissing. Wide, open-mouthed, wet kisses for Mommy and Daddy. We love it, absolutely love love it. :) And we just love our little Carson so much.
