a morning surprise

This morning, I quickly got ready while Carson was starting to wake up. Towards the end, he started crying and I knew I was out of primping time. But then, he suddenly stopped crying completely. Being me, I naturally got really worried that something was wrong.

So I walked into his room, turned on the light, and saw this:

He had stood up and didn't know what to do from there! Needless to say, he's sleeping with his mattress lowered closer to the ground tonight! Although as Alex lowered the crib for me, he was curious to know how I expected Carson to be able to launch himself outta there! You never know!! ;)
