Reindeer cherries and first fishies

This past Saturday, it was sunny and hot, so we headed to Andy and Katie's property in Sugar Camp with a bunch of the family. We brought some ice cream and I grabbed a bag of cherries. We snacked on them on the way to Sugar Camp, and Carson ate a ton. I told him they were called Rainier cherries, and in trying to repeat the name, he called them "reindeer cherries." That's what he called them the rest of the day, and I hope he will forever call them that!

Aside from delicious reindeer cherries, we all had a great time! Carson loved jumping off the dock into my arms in the water. And he even let me take him out to the raft with Jack, Lucy, Isaac, and Cassidy. It was also Carson's first time fishing! (6/11/16). Isaac would cast for him, and Carson would reel ... err.... try really hard to reel ... the fish in. The very first time, Carson was so elated and giddy; it was adorable! Hopefully it was the beginning of a life long love for fishing! So despite the slightly chilly water (that Sawyer hated by the way!), it finally feels like summer!
