Muskie tiiiiime!

Last week, Dillon, Audrey, Madilyn, AND Ryan visited! It was SO fun getting to spend time with them! Alex was the sweetest, greatest husband ever and took the boys a ton so I could go hang out with my family at my mom's cabin once he got home from work! From breakfast by the lake to swimming to playing games, we had a great time!

But the greatest time was had on Thursday, July 7th and Friday, July 8th. Thursday evening was kind of stormy, and I went out Muskie fishing with Ryan and Audrey on Long Lake. And I caught a Muskie! Yes, it looks like it was its first time away from its mother, but a Muskie nonetheless!

AND I caught a Northern Pike! ... who was also away from its mother for the first time...

Then the next day, Alex took Ryan and me out fishing on Lake Moen - where I caught another Muskie! Unfortunately we weren't able to get a picture of that one, but it was a semi-decent 30 inch Muskie!

SO much fun! It had been WAY too long since I had caught a Muskie!
