swimmin' boy

The sweltering heat has been killing me lately. So today, my mom and I took Carson to the beach at Hodag Park. He absolutely loved the cool, refreshing water! He did tons of splashing and actually got my mom and I soaked with his splashing! He loves splashing the water on his belly - flailing his arms and legs. But he passionately hates being laid on his back in the water! Carson certainly loved sitting at the edge of the water, feeling the rocks and mud between his fingers. It's just so precious how new and exciting everything is to him. :)  I am just loving summertime with my little man!
